A Quick Guide to Enjoying Block Blast
#1

Introduction
Block puzzle games are great when you want something calm but not boring. Block Blast falls exactly into that category: no story to remember, no complex rules, just a clean board, a pile of shapes, and the question, “Where should this go?”

Gameplay
You play on a fixed grid. Each turn, the game gives you a set of shapes made of small squares. Your goal is to place them on the board in a way that:

Creates full rows or columns
Avoids running out of space
Leaves room for whatever the game throws at you next
Whenever you complete a line, it clears and gives you points. The run ends the moment there’s no valid place to put any of your remaining pieces.

The fun comes from balancing “I want to clear lines now” with “I need to keep the board flexible for later.”

Tips
Use corners for awkward shapes. Big or weird pieces often sit nicely in corners or edges.
Keep a mix of open areas. Having both long spaces and smaller pockets helps fit a variety of piece shapes.
Don’t rush the last few moves. Most games end because of one careless placement when the board is nearly full.
Try to avoid tall, thin gaps. Those are hard to fill unless you get a perfectly shaped piece.
Watch your upcoming pieces as a group. Sometimes it’s better to place a piece “less perfectly” if it helps you place all three.
Conclusion
If you enjoy calm, replayable puzzles that are easy to learn and hard to master, Block Blast is a nice option. It’s just you, a grid, and your ability to make good decisions with limited space.
