I recently added a gem testing torch to my jewelry toolkit, and it has been a useful little device for examining gemstones more carefully. The focused light makes it easier to check inclusions, color variations, and surface details that are hard to notice under normal lighting. I especially like how portable it is, since I can use it at my workbench or take it to shows and meetings. It is not a replacement for professional testing equipment, but it is a great helper for quick inspections. For jewelers and collectors, I think it is a practical tool worth having.
