Hello I would need the codes to unlock a Huawei E8238 B WS-2 webcube. The device IMEI is 866986013166874.
How do I use the V1 / V2 / V3 codes? Are they alternatives?

1. Make sure your there is no power failure in between the unlocking process of Huawei E8238 (E8238BWs-2) Wireless Gateway Router, otherwise your Huawei E8238 (E8238BWs-2) Wireless Gateway Router may be dead forever.

2. Just insert a non-acceptable Network sim on your Huawei E8238 (E8238BWs-2) Wireless Gateway Router. (You have to use another network provider sim, which is currently locked to).

3. After changing the another network providers sim on your Huawei WiFi / MiFi switch the device on. It will display “Invalid SIM” because you have used another network providers sim.

4. Now just establish a WiFi connection to Huawei E8238 (E8238BWs-2) Wireless Gateway Router with your PC / IPAD / IPHONE / Android Device.

5. Connect your Huawei E8238 (E8238BWs-2) Wireless Gateway Router with PC and got to or and login to your device’s dashboard at or . Go to Advanced Settings – SIM Settings – Unlock Device – Enter Unlock Code – Click on Apply.
